We’re excited to welcome back Buffalo Gals to perform on the first Saturday in August from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Rachel Marcotte and Dr. Dianne Dugaw play and sing ballads, cowboy classics and lively dances from the roots of American music.
Join us for a day of Jazz at the Market when the Daniel Powell Quartet performs on July 28th. Daniel Powell has performed with the Metropolitan Saxophone Quartet in a number of venues in the Eugene area over the past several years.
Join us on Saturday, July 21st from 10 till 2 at the Spencer Creek Growers Market at the corner of McBeth Rd and Lorane Highway. Performing this Saturday will be The Sorrel Way Jam, a group of talented musicians who have been meeting weekly for an acoustic music jam and have performed locally for the past six years.
Also participating on Saturday will be 9 produce vendors, 5 craft vendors and 3 food artisans, including Genie’s Open Source Kitchen where you can try out a buffet-style, locally grown lunch featuring fresh picked greens, wild rice, barley and black beans — topped with your choice of any or all of 6 amazing sauces! Get in a bit of shopping, grab a plate of healthy scrumptious food from our outdoor locavore kitchen, say hi to the goat kids, pull up a chair and enjoy the music!
Join us on July 14th at 11:30 for a performance by guitarist singer/songwriter Per Marshall. Get in a bit of shopping, grab a bite to eat at our acclaimed outdoor kitchen, pull up a chair and enjoy the music!
Join us Saturday July 7th from 10 till 2 at the Spencer Creek growers market for a hands-on basket making demonstration. Learn how to make cordage and braids from natural materials and practice techniques including coiling, twining and weaving. Members of the Columbia basin basketry guild and market members will be there to help you and answer questions about this age old craft.
We’ll also have an experienced spinner demonstrating the art of spinning yarn. Join in the market community and enjoy music, farm fresh food and learn a new skill.
Live Music this Saturday will be provided by Sean Gill beginning at 11:30. If you’ve yet to hear a performance, you’ll be floored by Sean’s percussive fingerstyle virtuosity! See you there!
