Do you have great ideas for special events at the market? A tomato tasting? Country Fair Day? Guest chef? Flash mob? The person who chooses this fun job would work with the board to coordinate our regular volunteers and possibly recruit more to help build a new event. Have fun organizing a new party!
For existing special events (the Locavore Hamburger Luncheon, the Harvest Fair) you would be the person to pull together our board and volunteers. Just bring your good ideas up at a board meeting (in ample time for planning) and we’ll all be backing you up with publicity, signage, helping hands and enthusiasm. It’s an opportunity to be creative and have fun.
