Meg Graf

September 30th

On the last Saturday before our End-of-Season Harvest Fair we’ll again have 3 terrific music performances. Delina Rose, an amazing singer/songwriter (you can hear some of her recordings on Soundcloud) kicks off the market with a performance at 10:30, followed by the inventive and virtuosic Danny Estrada at 11:45. At one o’clock we’ll be welcoming back Meg Graf, accordionist and pianist from Calamity Jazz, who’ll be drawing from a wide repertoire as she performs on the keyboard for all us marketeers — customers and vendors alike. Satisfy your fresh summer veggie shopping list for the week and then relax and enjoy an unbeatable all-local lunch and great music!!

September 23rd

With the weatherman promising a fabulous Fall day, we’ll have another full crew of produce and craft vendors together with Jen’s terrific baked items and Randy’s offerings from Camas Country Mill. Genie will be set up in the outdoor Cafe with her buffet style “Market Bowl” featuring local grains along with fresh salad greens and terrific toppings. We’ve got a full slate of music with Lonesome Randall appearing at 10:30, The Blue Notes at 11:45 and Red Pajamas Duo at 1 o’clock.

Rainwalkers

September 16th

With just 4 market days remaining in the season, Joy & Martin have managed to pull together a packed music schedule with really great performers. This coming Saturday, September 16th, we’ll have Rainwalkers curing your summertime blues followed by Morgan Fichter playing assorted Appalachian tunes on the fiddle in his first market appearance. We’ll close the afternoon with the return of the highly acclaimed jazz trio Fresh Ham. So be sure and add the Spencer Creek Growers’ Market to your Saturday schedule and satisfy all your fresh summer veggie needs for the week while sitting back and enjoying a great all-local lunch and terrific music!!

Chico Schwall

September 9th

On the 9th of September we’ll have music throughout the day beginning in the morning with the Adams Apples & Ribs Marimba Ensemble, a talented and energetic gathering of 6th and 7th graders from Adams Elementary School. Following the marimba performance we’ll have guitarist Archie Slim perform in his second appearance at the market. Between 1 and 2 o’clock you can catch a performance by singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chico Schwall, who teaches at the Shedd Institute for the Arts and also appeared at our market last September with the Low Tide Drifters.
