We celebrated our 10th Annual Harvest Festival on October 5th at the Spencer Creek Grange. We pressed cider all day from apples brought by visitors to the market. Some folks who went home with jugs of cider bought their apples from Tom at SLO Farm, who had a booth alongside the cider presses. Three bands performed while over twenty vendors sold produce, crafts and artisan breads, vegan dessert items and more. Our lunch menu this year included wild-caught Salmon Chowder, Mulligatawny and Vegan Chanterelle Soup, fresh tossed garden salad, whole-wheat sourdough bread and choice between honey-walnut, apple and berry pie!
