Join us on June 29th for a rousing performance by piano virtuoso Meg Graf followed by a delightful mix of original and traditional folk songs by Wandering Thyme, led by Bob Brasted and Rene Minz.

June 1st

Our third market takes place on June 1st when, for the first time this season, there appears to be no rain in the forecast!  You can expect to see a plethora of colorful canopies where you’ll find our produce, craft and food artisan vendors.  Performing on Saturday will be Kam Jackson at 11 o’clock, followed by Sean Gill at 12:15. Details on our Events Page.   Jen Michaud from Cookie Conscious Bakery will be serving delicious vegetarian empanadas with a generous salad.  Dessert, of course, is included!  Lunch will be available beginning around Noon.  Hope to see you there!!

May 25th

This coming Saturday, May 25th, we have scheduled two fabulous music performances. We’ll open with guitarist Kryan Johnson at 11:30. Kryan will be serving up a mix of classic hits that’s sure to please. At 12:15 we’ll segue into a performance by Plum Lucky, who’ll bring us their spicy blend of Country, Folk, and Americana.

You’ll find a plethora of Produce, Craft and Food Artisan vendors and a tasty local lunch menu. Come on out, do a bit of shopping, grab a plate of food, kick back and enjoy the music!

Fall 2018 Board Meeting

We’ll be holding our Fall Board Meeting on Friday, November 30th at 11:00 a.m. at the New Day Bakery in Eugene. As we approach our 10th Season, we’ll be refining our strategies for expanding community involvement while we focus on streamlining market operations. These goals are will be discussed with participation from members nominated for newly created positions.

Membership Meeting and Celebration

We’re winding up this season with a Fall Membership Meeting and Celebration which will take place at the Pizza Research Institute on October 28th from 4 till 8 p.m. There will be live music, an informative and entertaining slide presentation and great food & beverages! If you’ve enjoyed visiting the market and share our enthusiasm for healthy, local food and regenerative agriculture, you’re invited to attend. Space is limited so please RSVP if you’re interested!

Harvest Fair 2018

This coming Saturday, October 6th, the Spencer Creek Growers Market will hold its 9th Annual Harvest Fair. We’ll have an all-day cider pressing — bring up to 3 bushels of apples (roughly 6 five gallon buckets) and either bring your own juice containers or purchase them at the market. We’ll be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m with live music by Suzie and the Sauce. Genie’s Open Source Kitchen will feature salmon chowder, a vegan autumn vegetable soup, bread rolls, gluten-free corn bread, fresh green salad, honey walnut pie and apple/plum pie with whipped cream. Enjoy an old-fashioned country market where you’ll find plenty of fresh veggies along with crafters, food artisans, live music and a delicious all-local lunch with plenty of outdoor seating!

September 29th

Sean Gill, a master of American Fingerstyle guitar playing and one of our all-time market favorites, returns to perform on the 29th. The market will also be holding a Plastic Recycling Day during which we’ll be providing a convenient, local drop-off collection point one day ahead of the Lane County Waste Management’s First Free Plastics Roundup Event. The Spencer Creek Growers Market will have collection bins marked for three categories of plastic that are being accepted for recycling.
