The treasurer keeps a general eye on finances with regards to budget. Makes payments, accesses the market bank account, does IRS filing, generates financial reports. Although it may sound like a lot of work, most of our systems are fairly automated and well organized. The treasurer does NOT have to do the weekly bookkeeping.
