Join us this Saturday, August 24th, when we hold our 5th Annual Locavore Hamburger Luncheon. This year’s fundraiser features music at 10:30 by the Eugene Marimba Kids, an amazingly talented group of performers led by our own Randy Moore, UO professor of Music Education. At 11:30 we’ll be hosting an Irish music jam. It will be led by Rachel and Ben Young, who come from the Irish traditional session background, having played with many groups across Canada and throughout Washington, Oregon, and California. Served beginning at around 11:30, the lunch includes burgers made with local grass-fed beef and all the trimmings, roasted potatoes, baked beans, garden salad and berry or peach pie for just $12. Vegan veggie-burger option also available. Order your lunch inside the grange kitchen and enjoy it outside where you will find ample seating among our music performers and produce, craft and food artisan vendors.
