Oregon Farm Direct Nutrition Program
Participants in the Oregon Farm Direct Nutrition Program can use their $4 vouchers to purchase locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey and herbs from June 1 to November 30. This state-administered, federal nutrition program serves low-income seniors, generally defined as individuals who are at least 60 years old and who have household incomes of not more than 185% of the federal poverty income guidelines. Each year eligible seniors receive a letter from the State in late April that will invite them to participate in the program. Interested seniors must respond by the indicated date in order to receive $32 in Farm Direct Dollars. Most of our produce vendors are qualified to accept FDNP coupons. The Spencer Creek Growers Market will match your $4 coupon, giving you $8 of delicious produce for each coupon you redeem with participating vendors.
