Join us on October 8th for our end of season celebration at the Spencer Creek Growers Market. This year’s Harvest Fair will feature 5 great local bands playing a variety of music while folks enjoy perusing the products of a plethora of produce and craft vendors. Saturday’s menu at our onsite restaurant, Café la Grange, will include a delicious Salmon Chowder, Genie’s world-famous Black Bean Soup, crispy-fresh garden salad, fresh-baked Sourdough Rolls and Corn Cakes and slices of Apple or Honey-Walnut Pie!
We’ll also be pressing fresh cider all day so if you happen to have an apple tree in your backyard or have a friend or neighbor who does, gather up a bucket or two of apples and bring them with you. Bring empty quart or gallon jugs with lids if you have them — we’ll also have containers available. 15 pounds of apples will produce about a gallon of juice. Fresh-squeezed cider will also be available for purchase.
