Market Manager – Open
The Market Manager oversees the set up and the running of the market. The manager is familiar with our Rules and Regs, assists vendors and customers when approached with any questions and concerns, operates the Point of Sales Terminal, distributes tokens, keeps the daily bookkeeping and has a broad knowledge of the workings of the market including state and local laws pertaining to food safety. The Market Manager serves on the board.
The market manager earns $23/hour for daily market tasks, including end-of-day vendor fee collection and token reimbursement as well as SNAP, DUFB and Food Equity transaction reporting during the regular May 16 through Oct 3rd season and at the season’s end.
