All vendors at our market accept cash and SCCGM market tokens. Five dollar tokens are provided when customers run Credit/Debit cards at the manager booth. SNAP customers can get up to $20 in matching dollars each market day. Also available at the manager booth are two new food equity currencies: Little Lettuce (a produce-only currency for children under 12) and Bucka Bucka Bucks (a lean protein subsidy for low-income households). Ten dollars in BBB tokens are provided to low-income customers and can be used to purchase eggs and lean protein meats. Children under 12 will receive five dollars in Little Lettuce tokens which can be spent on produce from any of our produce vendors. Senior Farm Direct $4 vouchers are matched dollar for dollar at our market and are accepted by many of our produce vendors.
Visit Sue and Dan at the Laughing Oak Farm booth where you’ll find meat from both pasture-raised chickens and pasture-raised goats.
Below is a handy reference illustrating what you can purchase with these different currencies.
