Saturday June 10th musical entertainment features Lucid Penguin beginning about 10:30 am followed by Paul Prince at noon.
Lucid Penguin is a homegrown acoustic rock duo that plays thoughtful and energetic originals covering a wide range of genres and subject matter. Drawing from their roots in traditional folk, blues, country and classic rock, LP seeks to blend thoughtful lyrics with earthy licks, punchy rhythms, exotic tunings and evocative harmonies and choruses.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Paul Nicholas Prince is a guitarist who creates not only a beautiful musical journey but an all encompassing three dimensional harmonic experience. Guitar Player Magazine named him one of two U.S. finalists in their International Fingerstyle competition. Paul has developed a style that utilizes classical innovative techniques and rich melodies.
