We celebrated our 10th Annual Harvest Festival on October 5th at the Spencer Creek Grange. We pressed cider all day from apples brought by visitors to the market. Some folks who went home with jugs of cider bought their apples from Tom at SLO Farm, who had a booth alongside the cider presses.
This years festival featured three music performances:
- 11:30 a.m. Scarface Charley
- 12:30 p.m. Chorduroys
- 1:30 p.m. Plum Lucky
Twenty-one vendors enjoyed the splendid fall weather while selling a plethora of produce, food and crafts. Our lunch menu this year included wild-caught Salmon Chowder, Mulligatawny and Vegan Chanterelle Soup, fresh tossed garden salad, whole-wheat sourdough bread and a slice of honey-walnut, apple or berry pie!
